These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cura ID Technologies Limited ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By using Cura ID, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and that you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Description of Service

Cura ID is a decentralized digital health identity platform that enables individuals to securely store, manage, and share their health information with healthcare providers globally. The service includes:

• Secure digital health identity creation and management
• Encrypted health record storage and sharing
• Global healthcare provider access and verification
• Blockchain-based data security and integrity
• Cross-border healthcare interoperability
• Emergency access protocols for critical situations
• Integration with existing healthcare systems
• Multi-language support for global accessibility

The platform operates on a freemium model, offering basic services at no cost and premium features through subscription plans. Healthcare providers may access patient data only with explicit consent and proper verification.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of Cura ID, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the platform
• Comply with all applicable healthcare and data protection regulations

4. Data Privacy and Security

Cura ID is committed to protecting your health information with the highest standards of security:

• Blockchain technology ensures data integrity and immutability
• You maintain complete control over your data sharing permissions

5. Healthcare Provider Access

Healthcare providers using Cura ID must:

• Be verified and licensed healthcare professionals
• Obtain explicit patient consent before accessing health records
• Use accessed information only for legitimate medical purposes
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with medical ethics
• Report any security incidents or data breaches immediately

6. Limitation of Liability

Cura ID provides the service "as is" and makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the information provided. We are not liable for:

• Medical decisions made based on information in the platform
• Unauthorized access due to user credential compromise
• Technical failures or service interruptions
• Third-party actions or data breaches outside our control

7. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, Cura ID may experience temporary service interruptions for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We will provide advance notice for scheduled maintenance when possible.

8. Account Termination

You may terminate your Cura ID account at any time. Upon termination, your health data will be securely deleted according to our data retention policies, unless required to be maintained by applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on the Cura ID platform are owned by Cura ID Technologies Limited or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of your health data and content. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your data as necessary to provide the service.

10. Payment Terms and Refunds

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers. We do not store your payment information on our servers.

11. International Use and Compliance

Cura ID is designed for global use and complies with international healthcare data standards including HIPAA (US), GDPR (EU), PIPEDA (Canada), and other applicable regulations. Users are responsible for ensuring their use complies with local laws.

Data may be processed and stored in multiple jurisdictions to ensure optimal service delivery and compliance with local regulations.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Nigerian Arbitration and Conciliation Act. The arbitration shall be conducted in Lagos, Nigeria.

You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against us.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

If you disagree with any changes, you may terminate your account within 30 days of the effective date of the changes.
